Devious Journal Entry

Wed Nov 18, 2009, 12:05 AM
Well hello everyone! Er...everyone who decides to read this. I know I've been relatively inactive here, but I do check in from time to time to read those comments. Anyway, I spend more time blogging now, rather than shooting. Which is a sad sad thing, because I do miss having photoshoots. Work's been doing so well at keeping me occupied, so there goes that so-called free time. Anywho, if you have any questions or what-not that you think require immediate attention, you may email me.

I got a couple of comments about using my work, and I always get them too late. I think it's sweet that you like that picture I took, and you'd love to use it somewhere. However, I think the polite thing to do is at least wait for me to say something like "yes, no, to get to the other side...maybe..." before doing what you will with it. My work isn't scrap. And to be honest, I don't think my work is that awesome enough to have me annoyed with all the ripping. I'm willing to help out with whatever it is you need that photo for. And, if I like you enough, I may even send you a hi-res copy of what you need. All I ask is to wait for me to say my piece about my work, because I actually put a lot of effort in it. Do it out of respect. I'm not some selfish biotch who'd go say "no" if you need to use any of these pictures. But I do want to know what it's for exactly, before I give an answer. Be nice. That is all.

In other news, I do weekly features at this blog: [link] If you know any artist worth featuring let me know! It would be nice to hear why they rock as well. I also have a review blog [link] where I write about the latest movies I've seen, albums I've acquired, and books I've read. You can also find me at twitter (twitter.com/henrisayshello)

Cue the crickets

I know it looks like I'll never be active in dA ever again. NOT TRUE! I've been real real occupied with work, and all sorts of things, that I can barely update anything but my twitter account. So I'm updating this now, so you know I'm not dead. Hope the dA world is doing just as amazing as ever!

Ciao!

Thank You dA-verse!

I've been unusually over occupied by numerous random things, that all I could actually do at dA is upload. I'm sorry I can't go to each and every deviant's page who :+fav:ed my stuff to say thank you, but I really am thankful for the :+fav:s. Even my flickr account gets very little attention. However, my twitter gets a LOT of updates. It's just more convenient, since I can tweet on the road. Anywho, thank you for the comments and faves. I  you all. :)

Here are some places you can find me online:

Behind the scenes photos and back stories to my recent uploads are at my blog as well. In case you're interested, although seriously, it's nothing groundbreaking or earth shattering.

On a completely unrelated note, anyone heard of Cassandra Clare, and her Mortal Instruments Trilogy? Google it. I'm on to her second book, and I must say, it is fantastic. If you thought Twilight was the most brilliant thing you've ever read, then read Cassandra Clare. Lmao, yeah, I just had to compare it. Seriously, it's a great read.

So cheers and off I go again!

New Year!

Mon Jan 12, 2009, 7:01 AM
Happy New Year World!!!!!

I've been overly occupied the past few months, that updating takes so much effort. So much is happening, really. I'm overwhelmed with all the things to do that I accumulate over time. Oh well. Everything's better now, and slowly inching to normalcy. Seriously. With so many projects and things I want to do in constant circulation in my head, things can get pretty crazy. I took a day off, and now, things are finally, finally moving into its rightful places. Read anything good lately? Seen the Golden Globes? Watched anything good lately? Ah, so many things indeed.

Blog

Wed Dec 10, 2008, 10:01 PM
For the lack of photoshoots, and interesting events, I decided to blog about absolutely nothing. Well, not exactly "nothing", but it's just too random --a semi-cute excuse for a blog.

Click this [link] please

I promised myself a birthday photoshoot, but the leeches and more got in the way. The holidays are incredibly busy. We moved to a new house, I have a ton of orders for my accessories business, and well, I have my day job, and a pre-holiday makeover set-up. The new house was horrible. The neighbors were noisy, and the dogs (as much as I love dogs), well, they weren't exactly loveable when they decide to have a riot at 3am, after all that noise starting at 11pm, just in time for the noisy cars to drive around at 4, to be rattled awake by a 5am wake-up call, and kids being loud by 6 on their way to school. I didn't have a decent night's sleep for 3 days. I'm slightly used to the raket by now, but they WILL PAY, if not today, soon. :evillaugh:

So how was your day?
